Last year I decided to grow an outdoor variety.. Then one day, I placed a plate of sliced cucumbers sprinkled with salt on the table. That's the one thing - if it has a sprinkling of salt, they are at least willing to try it. Instant converts! Let's hope that this coming season will be much more bountiful in the cucumber department for both of us!Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2884216770926932676.post-87267949092341515802016-02-10T08:29:06.488-05:002016-02-10T08:29:06.488-05:00Same here, Nancy - on both fronts!Same here, Nancy - on both fronts!Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2884216770926932676.post-1602735962286559762016-02-10T07:45:34.486-05:002016-02-10T07:45:34.486-05:00Well, your lemon cucumber looks to have done bette...Well, your lemon cucumber looks to have done better than mine did, I think I got one fruit in the end. I've found that the small cucumbers work best for me, both in terms of how they perform and also size. I'm the only one who eats cucumbers here so they're ideal.
